Compared to other new panoramic devices in which the sharpest areas must be manually selected, Dürr Dental‘s S-Pan technology goes a step further: It can acquire multiple layers of images from a single exposure. Each layer will be split in fragments. The best focused fragments are selected and recompiled to generate the panoramic image. Thus all sections of the image are as sharp as possible because they include individual anatomical features, as well as the patient's position. This means that all important diagnostic information, such as roots in the upper and lower jaw bones, are sharply displayed, the mandibular canal is readily visible, and bone structure is clear.
In addition to the S-Pan technology, the display allows for setting a quick-scan function, producing your image within only 7 seconds and thereby
reducing radiation dose.

The VS 600 is a semi-wet two surgery suction motor with combined automatic separation. Two-in-one is the magic formula. Dürr Dental has once again been successful in combining two machines: a suction motor and an auto separator, which separates the mixture of secretions and solids. For a maximum of two surgeries at the same time, even with high liquid flow rates. The VS 600 can be easily upgraded to VSA 600 (to include amalgam separation).

With legislation in place stating the need for amalgam separation, the Durr VSA 300 S Suction Pump’s fully integrated centrifuge separator is a must.
Typically this unit will be located within a base unit in the surgery cabinetry range and can be forgotten about until an alarm sounds from its user friendly interface.
With the requirements placed on a single surgery suction unit with amalgam separation along with the separation or air, secretion and waste, Durr have cleverly squeezed everything in to the compact VSA 300 S.
Key features of the Durr VSA 300 S Suction Pump are:
Compact unit with the ability to fit into a 400mm base unit.
User friendly unit both for the control interface and the actual general maintenance.
Simple process for exchanging and empting amalgam collection.
Availability of a sound proof housing to allow for choice of positioning within surgery.
Self contained fan for cooling and additional ventilation upgrades available.
The choice of suction unit is a key part within the planning process of any surgery layout. The choice to opt for a single surgery unit such as the Durr Suction Pump VSA 300 S is a good option with minimal surgery downtime in mind, for example if one of the units does happen to become faulty then it will only be that particular surgery that does not have suction rather than the entire practice.

Safe, gentle, and protective: The Vector principle
Sonic and ultrasound instruments have become established in periodontal treatment as an alternative to traditional manual instruments. However, ultrasonic instruments have disadvantages as well as advantages:
Often, they move elliptically, meaning that even and vibration-free work is not always possible on every single tooth surface. This can result in irritation and unwanted loss of substance on the root surface. The method thus far unrivaled, and meticulously put into practice by Dürr Dental: The Vector principle – a provably gentle and mild periodontal treatment.
The ultrasound energy is accurately deflected in a linear direction. Thanks to this patented vibration deflection system, the instruments are then moved parallel to the surface of the root only. Treatment can be administered in a clinically efficient manner using ultrasound energy, causing no trauma to the patient.
The range of uses extends from removing subgingival plaque to removing supragingival tartar. In addition, the system has advantages when it comes to dental implant care and periodontitis treatment.
This is what counts:
The Vector principle:
Linear deflection of the ultrasound dynamics in the Paro handpiece
Instrument movement axially, parallel to the surface of the root
Precise 90° deflection vertically
Tremor-free work
Careful removal of biofilm, bacteria and deposits
Smooth, clean surfaces
Thorough and sensitive like no other system

Taking 3D diagnostics to the next level - VistaVox S generates a 3D volume ideally adapted to the contour of the jaw
The USP of the VistaVox S is found in the ideal 3D imaging volume which is oriented to the human anatomy. The jaw-shaped field of view of the VistaVox S maps the diagnostically relevant range of a 130-mm volume and is therefore visibly larger than the most commonly used volume of Ø 80 x 80 mm. The advantage: Thanks to this changed volume shape, VistaVox S also completely covers the region of the rear molars – an essential requirement for diagnostics, e.g. for an impacted wisdom tooth. In addition to that, VistaVox S offers ten further Ø 50 x 50 mm volumes: five each for the upper jaw and for the lower jaws. These are used if the indication only requires imaging of a certain region of the jaw, e.g. for endodontical or implantological treatments. Depending on the required level of detail in the image, the volumes can be used with a resolution of either 80 or 120 μm. Supplemented by the 17 panoramic programmes in the tried-and-tested S-pan technology, this provides dental practices with excellent imaging diagnostics in both the 2D and 3D areas.
This is what counts:
Ideal 3D imaging volume matched to the shape of the jaw
Ø 50 x 50 mm volumes in 80 or 120 μm resolution
2D and 3D images from one unit
Excellent image quality in 2D and 3D thanks to the high-resolution CsI sensor with a pixel size of 49.5 μm
Reduced radiation dose thanks to the anatomically adapted volume
Dose reduced by up to 62% in SQ mode
Metal artefact reduction in 3D and 2D images
7" touchscreen for intuitive operation
Modern, ergonomic image processing software VistaSoft
2D images with exceptional image quality
VistaVox S offers not only excellent value for money, but will also help you and your surgery team to increase your flexibility. In addition to CBCT images, the S-pan technology of the VistaVox S can be used to generate brilliant panoramic images, which set new standards in the image sharpness of extraoral images.
This is what counts:
S-Pan technology for easier diagnostics
CsI sensor for improved image quality and reduced radiation exposure
Extremely fast, panoramic image in 7 sec.
Tolerant of typical positioning errors – thanks to the S-Pan technology
X-rays in the system - everything from a single provider
With VistaIntra, we now also offer you X-ray generators for excellent intraoral images. VistaIntra impresses with its exemplary ergonomic design and is perfectly matched to Dürr Dental image plates. Dürr Dental‘s expertise and quality is now available to you for all your X-ray system needs: from X-ray sources, X-ray film developers and scanners through to sensors and imaging software. Dürr Dental offers you a complete system from a single provider which assures you the best image results thanks to optimally matched system components.
This is what really matters:

Easy operation concept
Perfectly matched to image plates and sensors
Highly reliable and long service life for X-ray tubes
Constant radiation
mA and kV levels are adjustable
DC generator with 0.4 mm focal spot
Easily operated, highly ergonomic
Thanks to the handle on the generator head, VistaIntra can be comfortably and precisely positioned. Users can also select different views of teeth very easily. If required, X-ray parameters can be finely adjusted and a quick switch between two different radiation settings can also be made – e. g. for image plates and sensors. The obvious symbols on the timer also enhance the workflow and reduce the risk of operating errors.
DC technology for minimised radiation dosage
The modern DC technology in VistaIntra provides a highly repeatable accuracy of the X-ray dose, thus ensuring reliable image quality. It also reduces the patient dose by more than 25 % in comparison to conventional AC generators, ensuring greater safety for your patients and employees.

Quick cephalometric projections with low X-ray dose
Quick cephalometric X-ray images with excellent image quality are achieved with the new VistaPano S Ceph and with the lowest possible dose. The reason for this is the extreme short scanning time of the line sensor – 4.1 senconds only – which significantly reduces the risk of motion blur. For young patients undergoing orthodontic treatment, the combination of low X-ray dose and short scanning time presents a considerable advantage. The two high-end CsI sensors - for panoramic X-ray and Ceph projection – already integrated in the unit eliminate the time-consuming switching of the sensor, and thus the risk of damage. All this makes VistaPano S Ceph the ideal X-ray solution for orthodontic surgery and maxillofacial surgery. In addition, the VistaPano S Ceph offers you all functions and advantages of the VistaPano S.
